Fulfil a childhood dream with this fire engine driving experience! Savour the chance to learn to manoeuvre and drive a fully functioning Dennis RS fire engine with the lights flashing. Start with a briefing before jumping behind the wheel of the V8, 200bhp beast which has a top speed of 80mph. Under the guidance of an instructor experienced in driving colossal, heavy vehicles, drive this monster for 25 minutes around the site’s perimeter, even getting a chance to try and parallel park!

Availability Description At least one weekday or weekend date a month throughout the year.
Participant Guidelines Minimum age is 18 and maximum weight is 18 stone. Minimum height is 5′, maximum is 6’4”. A full British or international manual driving licence must be held for over 12 months and be produced on the day in order to participate.
Weather Driving is only ever cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow or ice) which would make driving at speed dangerous.
Duration Lasts for up to an hour and a half, with around 25 minutes of driving in total.
Numbers on the Day Briefings are held in groups. All driving tuition is on a one to one basis.
Dress Code Dress comfortably and wear trainers or flat-soled shoes.
