Experience the exhilaration of flight, with this unique opportunity to take the helm of a fixed-wing microlight aeroplane. Commence with a safety briefing hosted by one of the trained pilots, before hopping aboard a Cyclone AX2000. Soaring through the airwaves above Bath, enjoy a twenty minute ride, with expert one-to-one tuition on how to steer and control the plane. A microlight is a small aircraft, designed to carry up to two people and a maximum take-off weight of 450kg. Also known as a three-axis microlight, fixed-wing models are different to flexwing aircraft due to their conventional stick and rudder controls. With cruise speeds of over 100mph, it’s the perfect way to take in the aerial views of Bath.

Seven days a week all year round (subject to availability). Excludes Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. - Participant Guidelines
Participants over 16 are welcome. Under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian, who’ll be required to sign a disclaimer. Max weight is 14 stone. Reasonable physical fitness required. Women in the first or the last three months of pregnancy can’t fly. - Weather
This experience may be postponed in the case of extreme weather conditions. Any cancellations will be re-booked. - Duration
Please allow up to one hour at the venue, including a twenty minute flight. - Numbers on the Day
The briefing might be shared with other participants, however, the flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified microlight flight instructor. - Dress Code
Wear sensible shoes (no heels) and gloves. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. - Other Info
