Enjoy a flight in something a little more personal than the 747 you would climb aboard for holidays. Start with a briefing on the ground from your personal instructor on flying techniques and safety. After the briefing has ended, you’ll jump into a dual-controlled two seater Cessna 152 training plane for your 60 minute flight, during which time the pilot can will illustrate the controls and the joy of flying a plane – you may even be given the chance to take control yourself. These small planes are nippy and light and offer a whole new perspective.

  • Availability Description
    Seven days a week throughout the year (except Mondays and public holidays). Please allow a minimum of six weeks advance booking notice.
  • Participant Guidelines
    Maximum height is 6′. Maximum weight is 14 stone.
  • Weather
    Flying is weather dependent and it’s essential that you call the venue for a weather check. For morning bookings call the day before, for afternoon/evening bookings call before setting out. Cancelled flights can be rebooked direct.
  • Duration
    Your experience will last for about 80 minutes, including your 60 minute flight. Please allow for around an hour and a half at the venue. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration.
  • Numbers on the Day
    Your briefing might be shared. Your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor.
  • Dress Code
    Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
  • Other Info
    All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Your flying time can count towards a Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL). To qualify for a PPL you need 35 hours of dual control and 10 hours solo flying. If you have ever wanted to be a pilot, this is a great way to get started.
