Get acquainted with the ultimate pocket rocket – the mighty Ariel Atom! This baby has no roof or doors, a top speed of 150 mph and an acceleration rate of 0 – 60 mph in just 2.7 seconds, providing a driving experience unlike any other. Start with a welcome and safety briefing, indicating essential racing lines and track handling techniques to ensure the most is gotten ot of driving time. Then take over and grab the wheel for six stunning miles in the super quick Ariel Atom, negotiating every twist, turn and bend of the Lydden Hill circuit. After catching some breath, take home a certificate as a special memento of this amazing driving experience.
- Availability Description
Runs at least one Friday or Saturday every two months throughout the year. There is a £10 upgrade for this venue on booking. As availability is limited, please book at least three months in advance for this popular experience. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum height is 4’10”, maximum is 6’5”. Maximum weight is 20 stone. A full British or international manual driving licence held for at least 12 months must be produced on the day in order to participate. - Weather
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. high winds, ice or heavy rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. The venue makes contact if the experience is cancelled for any reason. - Duration
Expect to be at the circuit for up to an hour, including briefing and driving laps. Please arrive 45 minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start. - Numbers on the Day
All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. - Dress Code
Dress comfortably (and warmly in winter) with trousers, long sleeves and narrow, flat-soled shoes to negotiate pedals that are close together. A helmet is provided. - Other Info
