The magnificence and skill of hawks and falcons can only be appreciated once seen first-hand; and this is a great opportunity to see them swoop and soar through the Gloucestershire sky. The session begins with some training in the art of falconry from an experienced handler. Afterwards, get to grips with the birds themselves; handle them and get yourself feeling comfortable. Once you’re accustomed, it’s time to try falconry out for real and feel like a true falconer. Fly birds over open countryside and see the skill and speed involved. Finish by flying the bird to the glove; a true medieval thrill.
