Set in its own inviting cottage, Darnley’s Gin Distillery shares the landscape with an expanse of golden barley and overlooks the world-famous Kingsbarns golf course. Here, gin aficionados can take part in a guided tour covering facts about the local area and gin’s history. In the still room, discover which botanicals go into the making of Darnley’s own gin. Then be treated to a tasting – appreciating the spirit’s aroma and discerning the nuances in its flavour. The tour ends at the shop and cafe, where the entry ticket doubles up as a £2 voucher redeemable against a 70cl bottle of Darnley’s exquisite gin.
