In a Nutshell

  • Spend a day learning the art of gin, vodka or rum making
  • Brew your own gin, vodka or rum using a mini still with expert guidance
  • Gin and tonic and lunch all included
  • Take home a bottle of 70cl bottle of gin, vodka or rum to share

Head to Nelson’s Distillery and School and discover the botanicals used to create each unique blend! Begin the day with a welcome coffee at the school followed by an introduction to the course from a professional distiller. Relax with a gin and tonic before discovering the processes involved in making gin, vodka or rum. After learning how to make it, it’s your turn to play with botanicals and create and distil your own unique blend! As distilling can be a strenuous process, stop for a leisurely lunch before enjoying a tour around the school’s very own still called Victory. After the tour, bottle and label the unique creation which you can take home to share at the end of the day! Why not treat yourself to a bottle of Nelson’s Gin or rum just to compare the two!
