This half day falconry experience is perfect for two bird lovers. Discover the art of falconry overlooking the beautiful Shibden Valley in West Yorkshire. This intimate experience allows you both to get up close and personal with birds of prey and includes plenty of chances to hold several different birds of prey including Sinbad the Kestrel, little Bob the Peregrine, Mozart the Gyr x Saker Falcon, Legs the Harris Hawk, Woody the Asian brown owl, Boo the barn owl, Meg the Bengal eagle owl and Blueboy the Chilian blue eagle. Get expert tuition in the art of falconry and learn to use the falconry equipment. There is plenty of time to handle the birds so that you get comfortable with them and they can get comfortable with you. Take part in a hawk walk which includes carrying a falcon, hawk or owl.

Please call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your experience is cancelled because of bad weather it will be re-booked for an alternative date. - Duration
Your experience will last for around three hours. The experience is from 11am to 2pm. - Numbers on the Day
There will be up to four people taking part. - Dress Code
Dress for the outdoors and wear sturdy wellies or walking boots. Bring a change of clothes if the weather is very wet. If you have a camera or a pair of binoculars, bring them along. - Other Info
