Delve into the majestic world of the hawk with this hands-on birds of prey taster experience in Derbyshire. Enjoy a guided walk of the centre and gain an insight into the lives of these magnificent creatures before heading out into open countryside. Under the guidance of a resident falconry expert, handle a Harris hawk before experiencing the thrill of flying it to the glove. This introductory experience provides the opportunity to really get up close and personal with the hawks and witness them thrive in their natural environment.

Minimum age 7 and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Due to the amount of walking involved, it is important to be reasonably physically fit. - Weather
If the forecast is bad, please call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the experience is cancelled because of bad weather it will be re-booked for an alternative date. - Duration

Dress for the outdoors, waterproof and natural coloured clothing is advised, along with wellington boots. All falconry equipment is provided. - Other Info
