Salsa is one of the world’s most popular dances because it’s fun, stylish and easy to learn. With a buzzing salsa scene waiting, now’s the moment to get those moves going. This hip-shaking workshop kicks off with a welcome from an experienced teacher. After some intensive training on repertoire, style and technique, get matched up with another novice and enter the world of club salsa dancing with confidence and dance the afternoon away. With a voucher for a future class and club night, take the opportunity to put new skills to the test another time. Lunch isn’t included but there is delicious South American-style food at Bar Salsa to take advantage of.

Available on selected Saturday & Sundays throughout the year. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 18. Complete beginners only please (i.e. anyone who’s had less than three hours of salsa tuition). To understand the format of the workshop, please refer to the ‘Other Info’ section before booking. - Duration
Starts at 10.30am (doors open at 10am) and finishes at 5.30pm, including a five hour salsa workshop, an hour for lunch and tea/coffee breaks (please note that lunch and refreshments are not included). - Numbers on the Day
There is an average attendance of 24 dancers per session. - Dress Code
Bring comfortable clothes to change into and dance in, as well as smooth-soled shoes to spin in. Ladies usual heel height or flats are fine. Bear in mind that toes may be trodden on, so sandals are best avoided! - Other Info
All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Salsa is danced in pairs as one leader and one follower – traditionally, the leader is male and the follower female. Everyone must remain in the same role all day; leaders must dance with all followers and vice-versa.
