Learning to ski is fantastic fun and very rewarding. In most of Britain we don’t get much snow so we’ve sorted out this cool skiing experience at SnowDome, the UKs top real snow centre. It’s perfect for complete beginners, whether you just want to try out something new or whether you want to get some practise in before going on holiday. First your instructor will run through the safety requirements, then it’s your go – try out some basic moves and techniques before going down the slope, and back again. We suspect you’ll have a really exciting time and this experience could even signify the start of a life-long love of this amazing sport.

Seven days a week, subject to availability. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 17. You’ll need to be reasonably physically fit. This experience is ideal for complete beginners. - Weather
SnowDome’s real snow-covered slopes are indoors, so this experience won’t be affected by the weather. - Duration
Lasts for just around two hours, including a 10 minute briefing and an hour and 45 minutes on the snow. Please arrive a few minutes early to have your boots and board fitted. - Numbers on the Day
A maximum of ten people take part in each lesson with a qualified instructor. - Dress Code
Wrap up in lots of warm layers. Wear waterproofs (top and trousers) if you’ve got them. Warm gloves are essential. A snowboard, boots and protective headwear will be provided. There are (20p chargable) lockers and changing rooms available. - Other Info
All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Other on-site activities include tobogganing, adrenalin tubing, and ice-skating. SnowDome also has two bars and restaurants on-site.
