Meet the owls of Bedfordshire at this special owling experience near Biggleswade. Upon arrival, meet the expert falconer and have a chat over coffee about the birds before taking a short tour of the centre to see the different species. There are plenty of opportunities for questions and photographs as you walk through Owl Wood and visit the free flying barn owls. Then it’s time to start handling the owls – meet the Little owl, the Barn owl, a Long Eared and Short Eared owl, Tawny owl and the Snowy owl. With help from the falconer, fly an owl first-hand and see its strength and speed, not to mention immense grace and beauty.

Minimum age seven (children aged 7 – 16 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult). - Weather
Please call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the experience is cancelled because of bad weather (strong winds or heavy rain), it can be re-booked for an alternative date. - Duration
Expect to be at the venue for approximately three and a half hours, starting at 9.45am and finishing at 1pm. Feel free to stay on at the centre during the afternoon. - Numbers on the Day
A maximum of four participants share the day. - Dress Code
All specialised equipment needed is provided. Country style clothing and stout footwear, along with a camera or binoculars are recommended. - Other Info
