Learn how to make all the components of the perfect afternoon tea
High quality, sustainably sourced and mostly organic ingredients
Central London location
Includes a glass of sparkling wine
There are many elements that go into a quintessentially British afternoon tea. The Cookery School’s class covers them all, showing how to host a tea in style. Learn to make all sorts of delectable treats such as mini scotch eggs using quail’s eggs and chicken mince. Discover how to bake the lightest of scones and make homemade jam to go with them, as well as savoury scones such as cheese and herb. Create mouth-watering Devonshire cream cake with Original Beans ganache as well as traditional lemon curd tartlets. Using sustainably-sourced and, where possible, organic ingredients, pick up a host of new skills to show off back home. Afterwards, sit down to enjoy the high tea with a glass of Chapel Down sparkling wine and Tregothnan Cornish teas.
