Never felt the raw power of driving a tank? Don’t let this opportunity roll by. Learn to commandeer one of these iconic behemoths on land formerly used by the RAF. Upon arrival, change into the provided uniform and helmet. Once dressed for the part, meet the instructor and crew, before being taken to a mighty turreted FV432 tank. Tune in to a briefing, then climb inside and take the controls. It’s time to go on a drive through the Leicestershire countryside. Have a go at driving with the hatch open, then try using the periscope instead for a different perspective. When the instructor takes over the driving, get comfy in the turret and relish the ride.

Availability Description This voucher is valid for one person. Available selected Wednesdays and weekends (£20 supplement), April—October. All dates are subject to availability.
Participant Guidelines Minimum age: 16 years. Maximum height: 6’4”. Maximum weight: 22 stone. Participants need to be reasonably fit to take part. No driving experience is necessary. For the purposes of safety, no dogs are allowed within the grounds.
Weather To confirm the experience is definitely going ahead, please call Armourgeddon on the morning of the booked date.
Duration Expect to spend one hour at the venue with 15 minutes of tank driving.
Dress Code Please wear comfortable casual clothing and sensible footwear as conditions can be muddy.
Other Info All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. Spectator fees apply. A maximum of two passengers are allowed in the tank for an additional fee per person (minimum age: 8 years) payable on the day.
